About the role
We are looking for an experienced Café Manager to oversee daily operations at Trees Organic Coffee Co, an organic coffee shop located in Vancouver, BC. The role involves managing staff, budgets, inventory, and ensuring a high‑quality customer experience.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and develop budgets for food, ingredients, supplies and adjust menu pricing accordingly.
- Plan, organize and supervise daily operations, including staff recruitment, training, performance monitoring and scheduling.
- Maintain inventory levels, negotiate with suppliers and ensure health and safety regulations are met.
- Handle customer complaints, participate in marketing initiatives and contribute to profit growth.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 3 to 5 years of experience managing a café or similar food‑service establishment.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced urban environment, stand for extended periods and pay close attention to detail.
