Dishwasher – Casual Part‑Time Role

About the role

The University of British Columbia is seeking a reliable dishwasher for its campus dining facilities. This casual, part‑time position involves maintaining clean dishes, utensils and kitchen areas to support food service operations.

Key responsibilities

• Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables.
• Clean and sanitize dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units.
• Load buspans and trays into the dishwasher.
• Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware.
• Place cleaned items in storage areas.
• Hand‑wash and sanitize dishes and other items as needed.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment.
• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors and remove kitchen garbage and trash.
