Kitchen Helper – Full‑time, Vancouver

About the role

The Sandbar Restaurant is looking for a reliable Kitchen Helper to join its fast‑paced front‑of‑house team in Vancouver. You will support the kitchen and dining areas by keeping everything clean, stocked and ready for service.

Key responsibilities

• Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables.
• Operate dishwashers, hand‑wash and scour pots, pans, glassware and utensils.
• Clear, clean and sanitize tables, trays, chairs and kitchen work surfaces.
• Load buspans, sweep, mop and polish floors, and handle kitchen garbage.
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers and cupboards.
• Replenish condiments and supplies at tables and serving stations.

Required profile

• Client‑focused and reliable team player.
• Ability to handle repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment.
• Willingness to learn on the job; no prior experience required.
