Bread Route Driver

About the role

The Bread Route Driver will join Boulangerie Epi'Fanny inc to ensure fresh bakery products reach customers on time each morning. This position combines hands‑on delivery, customer interaction, and vehicle maintenance in an outdoor, fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Load, transport, and deliver bread, flyers, and parcels to residential and business locations.
• Follow planned routes using maps or digital trip‑planning tools.
• Perform pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report any issues.
• Provide courteous, professional customer service during each delivery.
• Restock and package goods as needed, handling items up to 9 kg (20 lb).

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of local delivery or transportation experience.
• Valid driver’s licence and clean criminal record.
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and meet tight deadlines.
• Physical stamina for walking and lifting moderate loads.

Required skills

• Proficient in map reading and route planning.
• Safe operation of vans and light trucks.
• Basic vehicle inspection and maintenance knowledge.
• Effective oral communication with customers.
