About the role
The Branch Assistant provides essential support to the Wood Gundy branch manager and team, ensuring a welcoming reception area and smooth daily operations. This role combines client‑facing service with a variety of administrative tasks to uphold high standards of service and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the reception area, greet clients, answer phones and direct inquiries.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate meeting rooms for the branch team.
- Process paperwork, maintain client files and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide administrative support to the branch manager, including report preparation and data entry.
- Assist with marketing and outreach activities to promote the Wood Gundy brand in the community.
- Handle routine banking transactions and resolve client requests promptly.
Required profile
- Strong attention to detail and ability to notice discrepancies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer‑focused attitude with a commitment to delivering a high‑quality experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced team environment.
- Previous experience in a banking, financial services, or client‑service setting is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary education in business or finance is a plus.
