About the role

Join the Boards of Directors of Horizon Health Network and Vitalité Health Network, New Brunswick’s two regional health authorities. Board members provide strategic oversight, shape long‑term vision, and ensure high‑quality, accessible health services for hundreds of thousands of residents.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and governance for each health authority.
• Monitor organisational performance and financial health.
• Ensure accountability and transparency in service delivery.
• Represent community interests and incorporate public feedback into decision‑making.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on policy, risk management and innovation initiatives.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience serving on boards of complex, public‑sector organisations.
• Strong strategic thinking, financial literacy and independent judgment.
• Commitment to public service and improving health outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills, integrity and collaborative mindset.
