Bilingual Associate Regional Director, Commercial Originations

About the role

The Bilingual Associate Regional Director will help grow the Commercial Funding Group’s origination volume by identifying, structuring and analysing new loan opportunities across commercial real‑estate asset classes. Working closely with the Vice President & Managing Director, you will build and maintain relationships with partners, brokers and direct clients while ensuring loans progress smoothly through the pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Originate, analyse and structure new loan opportunities, ensuring they meet Equitable’s lending guidelines, ROE requirements and internal policies.
• Prepare loan summaries, Letters of Interest (LOI) and Acknowledgement of Terms (AOT) for senior credit review and approval.
• Promote the Equitable Bank and Commercial Funding Group brands at broker and industry events, acting as a customer advocate.
• Communicate daily with the Commercial Originations, credit and funding teams to keep pipelines on schedule.
• Manage a portfolio of loan deals, meeting prescribed deadlines and coordinating with legal and credit partners.
• Travel for industry events, client meetings and property site inspections.

Required profile

• Bilingual in French and English.
• Proven experience in commercial mortgage origination and real‑estate financing.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with brokers, partners and clients.
• Ability to work collaboratively with credit, legal and funding teams.
