About the role
We are seeking a motivated Beauty Shop Manager to lead daily operations at D.Tox Spa in Vancouver. The role involves overseeing staff, managing inventory and budgets, and ensuring excellent client experiences. The position includes flexible scheduling across mornings, evenings, and weekends, with occasional overtime, and gratuities are part of the compensation.
Key responsibilities
- Direct and control daily operations of the beauty shop, ensuring smooth workflow.
- Evaluate daily operations to identify improvement opportunities.
- Plan and organize daily activities, aligning staff tasks with business goals.
- Establish or implement policies and procedures for staff to maintain consistency.
- Plan and control budget and inventory, monitoring costs and stock levels.
- Hire, train and supervise staff, fostering a high‑performing team.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Manage a fast‑paced environment, keeping service quality high.
- Schedule staff for morning, evening, and weekend shifts to meet demand.
- Oversee overtime requirements, ensuring coverage while controlling labor costs.
