Barista – Coffee Shop

About the role
We are looking for a friendly and reliable barista to join our coffee shop in Vancouver. You will work in a fast‑paced environment serving customers and preparing simple food items.
Key responsibilities
- Take customer orders, prepare and serve coffee and simple food items.
- Clear and clean tables, trays, chairs and maintain a tidy dining area.
- Operate dishwashers, wash glassware and flatware, and sanitize kitchen surfaces.
- Package take‑out food, portion and wrap items for customers.
- Keep records of food quantities used and handle inventory.
- Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers and cupboards.
- Store cleaning products safely and remove kitchen garbage.
Required profile
- Client‑focused with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, stand for extended periods and handle up to 30 lb of weight.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Dependable, positive attitude and a team player.
- Reliability and consistent punctuality.
