Bar Attendant

About the role

Darbar Restaurant is seeking a friendly and reliable Bar Attendant to join its team in Moncton. You will be responsible for delivering excellent beverage service in a lively restaurant environment, ensuring the bar area is clean, well‑stocked, and inviting for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange the bar area and create attractive displays.
• Prepare and serve mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non‑alcoholic beverages.
• Clean the bar, wash glassware, and maintain the draft beer system.
• Operate the cash register, collect payments, and record beverage sales.
• Order bar stock, manage inventory, and control bar supplies.
• Provide wine and drink recommendations and resolve any conflict situations.
• Maintain cleanliness of bar equipment and ensure compliance with health standards.
• Balance end‑of‑day cash drawer and reconcile sales.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
• 7 months to less than 1 year of bar or restaurant experience.
• Availability for flexible hours, including evenings, nights, days, and weekends.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle customer inquiries.
