Automotive Technician – Jaguar Land Rover (Langley)

About the role

We are seeking a fully licensed automotive technician with 2‑3 years of experience on European vehicles to join our service team at the Jaguar Land Rover Langley location. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of premium vehicles while delivering high‑quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and complete repair orders accurately, following dealership and factory standards.
• Use computerized diagnostic and testing equipment to identify and isolate faults.
• Perform scheduled maintenance such as oil changes, lubrication, and tune‑ups.
• Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturer performance specifications.
• Communicate with parts department, manage warranty parts, and create quotes for additional work.
• Road‑test vehicles to verify repairs and maintain a clean, safe shop environment.
• Supervise apprentice technicians and attend factory‑sponsored training.

Required profile

• Fully licensed automotive technician with a valid Canadian driver’s licence.
• 2‑3 years of experience working on European vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities.
• Self‑motivated, organized, and committed to high‑quality work.
• Effective interpersonal skills for teamwork within the service department.
