Automotive Mechanic – Full-time Permanent

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated automotive mechanic to join our team at FIX N' GO AUTO SERVICES in Surrey. This permanent, full‑time position involves diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a variety of motor vehicles while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
• Confirm findings with the supervisor to decide whether to repair or replace a component.
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
• Inspect the motor while it is operating to verify performance.
• Road‑test vehicles after service to ensure safety and proper operation.
• Estimate parts and labour costs, complete work orders and record reports.
• Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturer specifications.
• Advise customers on work performed, future repair requirements and maintenance best practices.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in automotive repair.
• Client‑focused attitude with strong teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow supervisor instructions and complete accurate service reports.
