Assurance & Advisory Manager – Audit

About the role

Join Baker Tilly as an Assurance & Advisory Manager – Audit, where you will lead audit and review engagements, mentor staff and contribute to client success.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with partners and the Assurance & Advisory team to plan, execute and complete audit and review engagements.
• Manage engagement processes, ensuring compliance with standards and timely communication with clients.
• Mentor and train staff, guide on accounting and auditing standards and BTNS methodology.
• Analyze financial information, assess risk and controls, and provide recommendations.
• Review tax returns for personal, corporate, non‑profit and charitable organizations.
• Prepare and review financial statements and note disclosures in accordance with reporting frameworks.

Required profile

• Canadian CPA designation.
• 4+ years of audit experience in a professional services firm, serving private enterprises and not‑for‑profits.
• Experience with ASPE and ASNPO frameworks; IFRS and PSAS a plus.
• Strong technical, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, project management and organizational skills.
