Associate Sales Professional – North Western Canada

About the role

Manitoulin Transport, a national transportation and logistics company founded 65 years ago, is hiring an Associate Sales Professional based in Acheson (Edmonton). The role focuses on Northern Alberta, Northern British Columbia and the wider Northern Canadian territories, offering a career in inside sales with long-term stability and autonomy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, nurture and grow the established account base across Northern Alberta, Northern BC and the Northern territories.
• Source and secure new customers through cold calls, competitive research and strategic outreach.
• Promote LTL/FTL, temperature-controlled, transborder and dangerous goods services to solve remote logistics challenges.
• Support the regional sales team and work with operations on demanding northern routes.
• Act as the long-term point of contact for Northern clients; occasional travel or in-person meetings may be required.

Required profile

• College or university graduate, or equivalent industry experience.
• Results-oriented, self-motivated and a strong communicator with good negotiation and organizational skills.
• Preferred: prior experience or deep knowledge of Canada's North and the transportation/logistics industry.
