About the role

The Associate Registrar & Director, Enrolment Services (Okanagan) is a senior leadership position within UBC Okanagan’s Enrolment Services. The role provides strategic direction and oversight for registrarial functions, student support, enrolment advising, scheduling, and financial services, ensuring a student‑centred experience that aligns with university goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the integration and delivery of registrarial services across the Okanagan campus.
• Advise campus leadership on policy, academic administration, and student success matters.
• Collaborate with Associate Registrars on both campuses to harmonise university‑wide priorities and practices.
• Oversee managers and professionals responsible for front‑line advising, academic scheduling, and student financial support.
• Develop and implement performance frameworks and continuous improvement initiatives for service excellence.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in higher‑education administration or related fields.
• Proven leadership and strategic planning abilities.
• Strong understanding of registrarial policies, academic processes, and student success drivers.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills for cross‑functional teamwork.

Required skills

• Knowledge of university registrarial systems and academic scheduling processes.
• Familiarity with student financial aid and support services.
