Associate, Program & Events

About the role

The Associate, Program & Events supports the Advisor Channel Sales (ACS) Events team by planning, executing, and continuously improving internal events, dealer‑sponsored conferences, and virtual webinars for RBC Global Asset Management.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in planning, execution, and reconciliation of internal events, dealer‑sponsored conferences, and virtual webinars while ensuring compliance with sales practices.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to meet timelines and critical path deliverables.
• Maintain and update event resources, templates, and documentation for consistent delivery.
• Manage ACS Events calendars and the communication platform (Playbook) to centralize team communications.
• Leverage internal tools, including AI, to identify operational efficiencies and enhance the event experience.
• Provide on‑site support for event execution and related administrative tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education in Event Management, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in event planning, program coordination, or a similar role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Salesforce CRM, and virtual conferencing platforms such as Webex.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work outside regular business hours and travel within Canada as required.
