Key responsibilities

• Lead high‑impact research in AI for Software Engineering, software architecture, and the software development lifecycle.
• Secure competitive research funding and manage research projects.
• Supervise higher degree research students to successful completion.
• Deliver high‑quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and contribute to curriculum development.
• Participate in strategic planning, academic governance, and industry partnership initiatives.

Required profile

• Established academic with a strong, sustained record of high‑impact research in Software Engineering.
• National or international reputation in AI‑related software engineering fields.
• Proven ability to obtain research grants and lead research teams.
• Experience in supervising graduate students and delivering university‑level teaching.
• Demonstrated leadership within the discipline and collaborative mindset.
