About the role
The Associate Director, Marketing & Communications supports the Advancement & Alumni Engagement team in shaping strategic communications for donors, alumni, faculty, board members and staff. The role helps identify fundraising priorities and creates compelling proposals and impact reports that drive revenue and strengthen donor relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic communication plans for a variety of internal and external audiences.
- Create major‑gift proposals and donor impact reports that illustrate the university’s value and outcomes.
- Collaborate with fundraising teams to identify short‑ and long‑term revenue opportunities.
- Manage the production of marketing materials, ensuring consistency with brand and messaging guidelines.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets and stakeholder coordination for communication initiatives.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English or a related field.
- At least four years of experience developing strategic donor communications.
- Strong knowledge of fundraising tools and the full giving cycle.
- Excellent research, business writing, editing and verbal communication abilities.
- Proven analytical, organizational and problem‑solving capabilities.
