About the role

The Associate Director, International Recruitment for UBC's Okanagan Campus drives the growth of international undergraduate enrolments. This senior leader creates and implements a focused recruitment strategy that aligns with the campus’s enrollment goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a curated international undergraduate recruitment strategy for the Okanagan campus.
• Identify and create opportunities that support enrollment targets.
• Assess existing recruitment processes, recommend improvements, and optimise outcomes.
• Provide leadership to on‑site recruiters and external contractors working abroad.
• Collaborate with the International Student Initiative team and regional hub leaders to ensure coordinated recruitment efforts.

Required profile

• Proven experience in international student recruitment or higher‑education enrollment management.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate recruitment strategies and performance.
• Leadership ability to guide recruiters, contractors, and cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
