Associate Director, HR Business Partner – Personal Banking

About the role

The Associate Director, Human Resources Business Partner leads the design and implementation of people and talent programs and provides consulting on key initiatives and organizational changes across the Personal Banking division.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to diagnose organizational structure, role definition and talent challenges to drive business outcomes.
• Design and implement talent initiatives that optimize employee experience and achieve business goals.
• Lead HR strategies that foster a diverse, inclusive and respectful environment.
• Project‑manage organizational change and talent programs, ensuring effectiveness and alignment with commercial objectives.
• Identify talent gaps using data and root‑cause analysis, building business cases that demonstrate cost and ROI.
• Provide proactive advice with data‑driven insights to inform talent decisions.
• Develop and execute change‑management plans to educate employees and managers on HR initiatives, policies and procedures.
• Lead and manage annual talent management cycles such as performance reviews, talent reviews and compensation for client groups.

Required profile

• Undergraduate business degree.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in HR, consulting or an HRBP capacity.
• People management experience.
• Strong consulting, critical‑thinking and analytical capabilities.
• Expertise in organizational design and effectiveness.
• Ability to work strategically with senior leaders and influence change.
• Experience with transformation, project management, agile methodology and change management is an asset.
