Associate Director, HR Business Partner – Commercial

About the role

The Associate Director, HR Business Partner (HRBP) will lead the design and implementation of people and talent programs for the Commercial division of EQ Bank. Reporting to the Director, HR Business Partner, you will partner closely with senior leaders to align talent initiatives with business strategy and deliver an exceptional employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with commercial leaders to diagnose organizational structure, role definition and talent challenges, providing consultative advice and coaching.
• Design and implement talent initiatives that support business outcomes and improve employee experience.
• Lead HR strategies that promote diversity, inclusion and a respectful workplace.
• Project‑manage change initiatives, organizational effectiveness programs and talent projects across the Commercial function.
• Identify talent gaps through data analysis, build business cases and present ROI for talent recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven experience partnering with senior business leaders in a fast‑moving, customer‑focused environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to use data and insights to influence decisions.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, capable of coaching and guiding leaders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex change initiatives and talent programs.
