Assistant Store Manager – Retail (Toronto Eaton)

About the role

POP MART is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily operations and deliver an exceptional in‑store experience at its Toronto Eaton location. You will work closely with the Store Manager, overseeing opening/closing procedures, visual merchandising, and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of Brand Associates, set expectations, and develop talent.
• Act as manager on duty, ensuring smooth store operations and a positive customer and employee experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert on POP MART characters, products, and company history.
• Support marketing initiatives such as in‑store events, pop‑up events, conventions, and new store openings.
• Assist with RoboShop business coordination and follow‑up with partners.
• Drive sales performance and meet KPIs (conversion, units per transaction, dollars per transaction, sales trends).
• Promote key product lines including Blind boxes, MEGA, and accessories.
• Execute visual merchandising and inventory management tasks as required.
• Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Required profile

• Previous retail or store management experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify process improvements.
• Excellent communication skills to convey barriers and opportunities to the Store Manager.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
