Assistant Store Manager – North Bay Centre

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our North Bay Centre store who will help create “magical moments” for customers while supporting a fast‑paced, inclusive retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive store performance by supporting sales, managing expenses, and overseeing merchandising, back‑room, frontline, cash office, markdowns, scheduling, shipping and receiving, with a focus on minimizing shrink.
• Recruit, train and develop associates, acting as a mentor and role model to ensure a positive experience for staff and customers.
• Implement action plans for company initiatives, projects and store changes, and contribute to succession planning.
• Coordinate loss‑prevention programs, improve store layout and efficiency, and meet sales, expense and customer‑service targets.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of retail leadership experience as an Assistant or Store Manager.
• Proven ability to lead, develop and empower a large team.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the capacity to give effective feedback and mentorship.
• Knowledge of store operations, customer service, merchandising, health and safety, and loss prevention.
