About the role
We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations and help drive sales in a fast‑paced retail environment. You will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure smooth execution of merchandising, staffing and customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Direct and control daily store operations, including planning, organizing and evaluating performance.
- Manage staff, assign duties, and supervise office and volunteer personnel.
- Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and adjust merchandise, pricing and promotional strategies.
- Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale, and implement price and credit policies.
- Plan budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and determine staffing requirements.
- Resolve customer requests, complaints and supply shortages promptly.
Required profile
- College/CEGEP education or equivalent experience.
- 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment under pressure with strong attention to detail.
- Collaborative, goal‑oriented, positive attitude and quick learner.
