About the role
Join a locally owned Pharmaprix store and help deliver health, beauty and convenience services to your community. As the Assistant Store Manager (Front), you will support the Front Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, staff, and financial performance.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain store standards to optimize customer experience and drive traffic.
- Collaborate with the management team to ensure standards are applied 100% of the time, including back‑room areas.
- Assist with labour scheduling and use Work Force Management tools to maximise productivity.
- Ensure staffing levels are adequate for smooth operations.
- Support hiring for all departments except pharmacy, following HR standards.
- Administer wages within company guidelines and drive a positive culture aligned with core values.
Required profile
- Previous retail management experience, preferably in a pharmacy or health‑care environment.
- Strong judgment and decision‑making skills for expense control and inventory planning.
- Effective leadership, mentorship, and staff development abilities.
- Excellent time‑management, prioritisation, and organisational skills.
