Assistant Selling Sales Manager

About the role

Join Ashley Canada’s Lethbridge store as an Assistant Selling Sales Manager. You will spend up to 20% of your time on management duties, supporting and coaching the sales team while still actively selling to guests. This role offers a blend of leadership and hands‑on sales in a fast‑paced furniture retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Meet or exceed daily store goals for sales volume, margin, closing ratio, and NPS scores.
• Coach and assist sales team members to achieve personal and team sales targets.
• Monitor sales conversations, provide live coaching, and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Train the team on product knowledge, promotions, and selling techniques.
• Maintain store appearance, stock availability, and oversee weekly, daily, and training meetings.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education in business, marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of proven sales experience in a retail environment.
• Previous supervisory experience with a track record of coaching teams.
• Professional appearance with strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work long hours, including evenings and weekends, and pass a criminal record check.
