Sales Associate – Music & Pop Culture Retail

About the role

Join the loudest store in the mall! We're looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Sales Associate you’ll play a key part in delivering great service and showcasing the latest merch.

Key responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that encourages repeat visits.
• Cover the sales floor zone and keep assigned areas up to visual standards.
• Operate the register, process sales transactions and promote add‑on sales.
• Assist with planogram changes, including store maps, walls, fixtures and merchandising mix.
• Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and HQ partners.
• Work with Store Management to prevent theft and misuse of merchandise.
• Help keep the stock room organized and the store tidy.
• Collaborate with teammates to achieve store goals.

Required profile

• Previous experience working in a retail environment.
• Passion for music and pop culture.
• Strong customer service and sales abilities.
• At least 16 years of age.
• Collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products and handle boxes up to 50 lb.
