Assistant Manager – Wholesale Trade

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to lead our wholesale trade operations in the podiatry medical supplies sector. The role combines sales leadership, product selection and supplier negotiation to drive growth in a fast‑paced retail/wholesale environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and select merchandise and services to be offered, focusing on podiatry equipment and supplies.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase market share.
• Negotiate offers and contracts with suppliers to secure favourable terms.
• Manage day‑to‑day wholesale activities, including order processing and inventory oversight.
• Coordinate with the distribution centre to ensure timely delivery and stock availability.
• Monitor sales performance and adjust tactics to meet targets.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary school graduation certificate.
• At least 5 years of experience in medical equipment or supplies sales.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, days and weekends as needed.
