Assistant Front Store Manager

About the role

The Assistant Front Store Manager supports the Front Store Manager in overseeing the human, physical, and financial resources of a Pharmaprix store. The role focuses on improving product flow from the backroom to the sales floor while keeping the customer experience at the forefront.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain store standards to optimise customer experience, drive traffic and enhance profitability.
• Collaborate with the management team to ensure standards are applied 100% of the time, including back‑room operations.
• Assist with labour scheduling and use Workforce Management (WFM) tools to maximise productivity.
• Ensure staffing levels are sufficient for smooth store operations.
• Support hiring for all departments except pharmacy and manage wage administration within SLPH guidelines.
• Promote the company’s culture, engage staff and lead by core values.

Required profile

• Previous retail management experience with a proven ability to drive business results.
• Strong planning, judgement and decision‑making skills, especially for inventory management and expense control.
• Effective leadership, mentorship and staff development capabilities.
• Excellent time‑management, prioritisation and organisational abilities.
• Solid business and financial acumen and strong interpersonal, coaching and communication skills.
