Asset Study Delivery Lead – 14‑Month Secondment/FTC

About the role

The Asset Study Delivery Lead will partner with the Therapeutic Area Accountable Person and the Supported Studies Operations Director to oversee end‑to‑end delivery of the therapeutic‑area study portfolio. This 14‑month secondment or fixed‑term contract provides leadership for multiple assets, ensuring studies are prioritised, funded and executed on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate proposal submissions and lead review meetings with cross‑functional stakeholders including LOC, safety, supply, legal, medical affairs and external investigators.
• Maintain and update IdeaPoint and Veeva with all submission documentation and proposal outcomes.
• Forecast budgets, track invoicing and actual spend, and act as primary liaison with finance.
• Manage commercial and clinical supply forecasts in collaboration with GSK supplies teams.
• Provide regular study performance updates and prioritisation recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Lead study delivery teams, ensuring compliance with GSK SOPs, regulatory requirements and study timelines.
• Coach and develop direct or indirect reports, supporting their objectives and career growth.
• Identify process inefficiencies across therapeutic areas and drive improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in clinical study delivery, portfolio management or related functions within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven ability to work in a matrix environment and influence cross‑functional teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with IdeaPoint.
• Proficiency with Veeva.
