Assembly Operator – Transformer Core Production

About the role

We are looking for an Assembly Operator to join our Burlington facility and build flat‑stacked transformer cores from steel laminations. The role is contract‑based, covering day and afternoon shifts, and focuses on delivering high‑quality, specification‑compliant products in a safety‑first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble small, medium and large flat‑stacked transformer cores according to work instructions, drawings and blueprints.
• Accurately stack, align and interleave steel sheets, ensuring correct orientation and sequence.
• Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers and rulers to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Install core supports, clamps and insulation materials as required.
• Operate core‑stacking tables, lifting devices, hoists or cranes to position heavy components safely.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections throughout the process and report any non‑conformances.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S and safety protocols.
• Complete production documentation and checklists accurately.
