Arborist Foreman (Male/Female)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Arborist Foreman to lead our tree care team in Edmonton. The role involves supervising staff, planning work, and performing hands‑on arboricultural tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Hire, supervise and schedule a crew of 3‑4 arborists.
• Plan and estimate labour and material requirements, requisition supplies and equipment.
• Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend productivity improvements.
• Perform tree removal and treat trees and shrubs for disease, including pruning, spraying and injections.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation.
• 3 to less than 5 years of arboriculture experience.
• Ability to work outdoors at heights, handle heavy loads and stand for long periods.
• Initiative, good judgement, team player and flexible.

Required skills

• Plant identification.
• Tree health diagnosis and treatment.
