We are seeking an Apartment Building Maintenance Worker to support the upkeep of an apartment complex in Montréal. The role involves performing minor repairs, adjustments to building systems, and ensuring safety and security. The employer welcomes newcomers and refugees, offering a supportive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Adjust and repair heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems.
- Contact tradespersons and contractors for major repairs and maintenance.
- Perform safety and security checks throughout the building.
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repair.
- Handle repetitive tasks and heavy loads as required.
Required profile
- 1 to less than 2 years of experience in building maintenance.
- Trade certificate or diploma in a related field.
- Ability to work in an apartment/condominium complex on morning and day shifts.
