About the role

Join Ford's Enterprise Technology team to create a cutting‑edge multimodal interface for the Intelligent Voice Assistant. You will use the latest Android technologies to deliver a high‑performance, low‑distraction UI that blends voice and visuals for drivers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the UI layer of the Intelligent Voice Assistant using Jetpack Compose and modern Android best practices.
• Create state‑driven, interactive vector animations with Rive that react in real time to voice triggers, system states, and user emotions.
• Maintain a clean, scalable codebase employing MVVM or MVI patterns to manage complex voice‑interaction states.
• Optimize performance to meet automotive‑grade responsiveness, stability, and hardware constraints.
• Collaborate closely with VUI designers, AI engineers, and product managers to translate spoken commands into visual feedback.
• Prototype innovative interaction methods that enhance safety and driver experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (proof of degree required).
• Minimum 4 years of professional Android development experience with a deep understanding of the Android SDK and Kotlin.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with Jetpack Compose.
