AI Digital Marketing Assistant (8‑Week Canada Summer Job)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic AI Digital Marketing Assistant for an 8‑week, paid summer position funded through the Canada Summer Jobs program. The role is hands‑on and ideal for candidates who already use AI to create, design, market, and automate digital assets.

Key responsibilities

• Build and update websites and landing pages using AI‑assisted design tools.
• Conduct SEO research, implement strategies, and monitor analytics.
• Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns, including social media content.
• Create graphic design assets and brand materials with AI‑enhanced tools.
• Design and maintain simple AI‑supported workflows, automations, and prototypes.
• Research, strategize, and solve creative problems using a variety of AI platforms.

Required profile

• Curious, resourceful, and creative individual excited by rapid AI developments.
• Fast learner who can independently figure out new tools and demonstrate real AI‑driven projects.
• Eligible for Canada Summer Jobs: age 15‑30, Canadian citizen/permanent resident or protected refugee, valid SIN, and legal right to work in Canada.

Required skills

• Experience with AI research and content tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Perplexity.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Replit, Lovable, Bolt, or v0.
• Proficiency in website platforms (Webflow, Framer, WordPress, Squarespace, Shopify).
• Design expertise using Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite.
• AI image/video generation tools (Midjourney, DALL·E, Runway).
• Automation and workflow tools (Zapier, Make, Airtable, Notion, Google Workspace).
• SEO and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Ubersuggest).
