AI Augmented Full Stack Developer (Innovation Team)

About the role

LGI Healthcare Solutions, which has built healthcare software for over 40 years, is looking for an AI-Augmented Full Stack Developer for its Innovation Team in Montreal. The team uses AI as a central part of its software development approach, and the role sits within an R&D team focused on clinical software for Quebec's healthcare system.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise B2B application modules with AI as a development copilot in a C#.NET Core, Java, Angular, React and Kubernetes environment.
• Work with modern build and deployment pipelines.
• Generate, validate and continuously improve unit tests using AI-assisted tools.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation with AI.
• Participate in code reviews, keeping critical judgment on AI-generated code.
• Maintain clinical data integrations, including data pipelines and HL7 v2 interfaces.
• Develop AI-augmented features and contribute to the design of AI models or integrations as needed.
• Stay current with emerging AI tools and share learnings with the team.
• Take ownership of deliverables from requirements through testing, documentation and production deployment.
• Follow Law 25 and LSSSS compliance standards under the team's guidance.

Required profile

• At least 6 years of software development experience with C#.NET Core, Java, Angular, React, Kubernetes and related technologies.
• A fast, self-directed learner who adapts quickly to evolving technologies and the AI ecosystem.
• Daily use of AI development tools, with demonstrated productivity gains.
• Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code and recommendations.
• Strong intellectual curiosity, solid object-oriented programming foundations and good communication skills.
• Interest in regulated environments such as digital healthcare and ambition to grow.

Nice to have

• Personal AI projects, open-source contributions and GitHub activity.
• Familiarity with data integration or messaging standards such as HL7 v2.
