Advanced Care Paramedic – Full-Time with Incentive

About the role

Associated Ambulance is hiring Advanced Care Paramedics for permanent and temporary full‑time positions at the Evansburg station. You will join a dedicated rural emergency response team providing pre‑hospital care and lifesaving interventions to the community and surrounding area.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions, determine injury or illness severity, and identify immediate care needs.
• Provide pre‑hospital emergency medical care, including patient stabilization and preparation for transport.
• Monitor vital signs, assess blood glucose levels, and perform other diagnostic procedures.
• Perform advanced life support procedures such as intubation and cardiac pacing.
• Collaborate with emergency medical personnel, communications officers, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Required profile

• Valid Advanced Care Paramedic practice permit meeting Alberta EMS requirements.
• Current Alberta Class 4 driver’s licence.
• Completion of mandatory training, including MCP and PDIC.
• FARE certification or current full‑time paramedic experience.
