About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Secretary to join our Comprehensive Community Care (C3) program on a temporary full‑time basis. Working under limited supervision, you will provide timely and confidential secretarial services that support the delivery of integrated health and social services for older adults.
Key responsibilities
- Perform a range of secretarial duties, including document preparation, filing, and handling confidential information.
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings for program staff.
- Provide administrative support that involves decision‑making and recommending procedures aligned with established policies.
- Maintain accurate records using office software and databases.
- Assist with additional tasks as required to ensure smooth program operations.
Required profile
- Minimum Grade 12 education combined with a secretarial or administrative certificate (or equivalent experience).
- At least 3 years of relevant secretarial or administrative support experience.
- Ability to work independently under limited supervision while maintaining confidentiality.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access (or equivalent database software).
- Keyboarding speed of 50 + words per minute.
- General computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
