About the role
The Administrative Secretary provides essential clerical support to the Central Support Services (CSS) management team at Shared Health. Working in a fast‑paced health‑care environment, you will ensure smooth scheduling, documentation, and communication for the CSS managers.
Key responsibilities
- Process job postings, orientation registration, and related paperwork.
- Maintain employee profiles and unit information in the ESP staff‑scheduling system.
- Update daily schedule changes, generate staffing reports, and run ESP reports as needed.
- Coordinate appointment calendars for CSS managers and handle additional clerical duties.
Required profile
- Minimum two years of related clerical experience, preferably in health‑care.
- High school diploma meeting Manitoba standards and successful completion of a recognized secretarial training program.
- Typing speed of at least 50 wpm and a pass mark of 75 % on medical terminology.
- Preference for candidates with staff‑scheduling experience or knowledge of Indigenous languages and customs.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite – Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Knowledge of the Environment for Scheduling Personnel (ESP) or similar scheduling systems.
- Strong English oral and written communication.
