About the role
The Administrative Officer will ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations of the office by implementing and overseeing administrative procedures. This onsite position requires a proactive approach to managing records, budgets, and staff coordination.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and review new administrative procedures.
- Delegate tasks to office support staff and monitor compliance with deadlines.
- Administer policies related to records release under government access‑to‑information and privacy legislation.
- Coordinate office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, asset disposal, parking, maintenance and security.
- Assist in preparing the operating budget, maintain inventory, and control expenditures.
- Assemble data and produce periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
- Perform data entry, train staff, and oversee office administrative processes.
- Resolve conflict situations and monitor performance against budgetary targets.
Required profile
- College/CEGEP education.
- 3 to less than 5 years of relevant administrative experience.
- Ability to establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed.
