Administrative Assistant / Receptionist – Waterworks

About the role
Wolseley Canada is seeking an organized Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to support its waterworks division. You will act as the first point of contact for vendors and internal teams, ensuring smooth inventory flow and compliance with health and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain vendor relationships, review purchase orders and expedite replenishment requests.
- Monitor inventory KPIs such as Investment and Days of Inventory on Hand (DOI).
- Forecast demand using analytical tools and manage distribution centre programs.
- Collaborate with Vendor Costing and Finance to keep pricing accurate and resolve A/P‑to‑PO variances.
- Ensure health and safety compliance: update bulletin boards, fire‑escape maps, OHS meeting minutes, and conduct regular inspections and fire drills.
