Accounting Co‑op – Private Enterprise & Tax (Jan 2027)

About the role

Davidson & Company is looking for a motivated co‑op student to join its Private Enterprise & Tax practice for an eight‑month term starting January 2027. Based in downtown Vancouver, you will gain hands‑on experience across tax, audit and advisory services for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Develop technical skills in compilations, reviews, bookkeeping, and tax for privately held companies.
• Prepare corporate, personal and other tax returns, applying ASPE and relevant legislation.
• Apply knowledge of the Canadian Income Tax Act and corporate tax compliance to compute taxes owing.
• Utilize various tax tools and software while collaborating with engagement teams.

Required profile

• Working towards CPA PEP prerequisites with intention to pursue CPA designation.
• Previous accounting‑related office experience is an asset.
• Customer service or client service experience is a plus.
