Accountant / Senior Accountant – Corporate Accounting

About the role

Anthem is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant or Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting team in Vancouver. You will be responsible for full‑cycle accounting, financial reporting, and analysis across multiple entities, supporting strategic decisions throughout the business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review consolidated and unconsolidated financial statements.
• Perform bank, partnership equity, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Handle GST filings and support year‑end audit processes.
• Research technical accounting issues and ensure general ledger accuracy.
• Contribute to ERP system improvement initiatives and ad‑hoc analysis projects.

Required profile

• 2–5+ years of accounting experience in a multi‑entity environment.
• CPA designation or working towards one is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Highly motivated, organized, and detail‑oriented.

• ASPE (Canadian Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises)
• REALpac
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Yardi (real‑estate accounting software)
