Accountant – Full‑cycle Finance & Reporting

About the role

The Accountant will report to the Accounting Manager and be responsible for full‑cycle accounting across the parent company and its subsidiaries. This includes managing accounts receivable/payable, bank reconciliations, month‑end close, tax filings and audit coordination while providing accurate financial insights to internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day accounting tasks for the parent company (AR, AP, bank reconciliations).
• Prepare and file monthly GST and PST returns.
• Assist in month‑end and year‑end financial reporting and audit processes.
• Maintain subsidiary books, support VAT filings and manage intercompany transactions.
• Coordinate with local accountants to produce monthly and annual financial statements.
• Collaborate on annual budgeting, cash‑flow analysis and compliance with bank covenants.

Required profile

• CPA designation.
• Minimum 3 years of full‑cycle accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or multi‑entity environments.
• Strong attention to detail, organized and able to meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Required skills

• Microsoft Dynamics NAV (advantageous).
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite.
