Accountant – CPA Student (Training-Focused Role)

About the role

We're looking for an Accountant to support our month-end close and full-cycle accounting operations. This is a hybrid role with flexibility on in-office days—you'll have autonomy to structure your week around what works best for the team and the business.

Key responsibilities

• Support and eventually lead month-end close process and financial statement preparation
• Manage general ledger, account reconciliations, and accrual entries under guidance
• Process payroll and coordinate with HR on compensation matters
• Assist in the preparation of management, investor, and board reporting
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives
• Help build and document accounting procedures as we scale
• Coordinate with external auditors and advisors

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or working toward CPA designation (or equivalent accounting designation)
• Strong foundational accounting knowledge (or willingness to learn quickly)
• Ability to work independently with clear direction and ask good questions
• Comfort with growth and changing priorities in a lean environment
• Genuine interest in scaling with the company (this role has real development potential)
• Detail‑oriented and organized approach to financial tasks
