About the role

A reputable organization in the consumer goods and distribution sector is looking for an experienced Accountant to join its accounting team. This fully on‑site role focuses on hands‑on accounting work, ensuring accurate financial records and supporting day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage core accounting activities within the general ledger, emphasizing accounts payable.
• Prepare and review bank, balance sheet, and income statement reconciliations.
• Oversee inventory‑related accounting, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies promptly.
• Partner with operations and cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate financial data.
• Contribute to documentation and continuous improvement of accounting processes.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in a hands‑on accounting role.
• Strong understanding of reconciliations and routine accounting functions.
• Experience with an ERP or mid‑market accounting system is an asset.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Clear, professional communication skills.
