About the role
The Account Representative reports to the Sales Manager and is responsible for building long‑term, trusting relationships with customers. The role focuses on growing Aurum's business within the commercial and construction sectors by developing new opportunities from existing accounts and actively pursuing new sales leads.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, long‑lasting client relationships.
- Proactively engage with customers to ensure a positive experience.
- Deliver solutions on time according to customer needs and objectives.
- Develop new business with existing clients and identify improvement areas to meet sales quotas.
- Generate leads through cold calling and site visits.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
- Achieve sales targets within the defined schedule.
- Coordinate sales plans with operations and scheduling teams.
- Maintain accurate data in Salesforce CRM.
- Monitor market trends and suggest improvements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience delivering positive results in an organization.
- 2+ years of account management experience in the service or operations industry.
- Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport with clients and understand their business needs.
