Account Manager (Walmart) – Special Project

About the role

The Special Project Account Manager will oversee a portfolio of Walmart sites across Central Ontario, ensuring operational excellence and client satisfaction. The role combines site visits, people management, and financial administration while offering flexibility to work from home when not on the road.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular site visits to ensure safety, cleanliness, and service standards are met.
• Manage relationships with store managers and address complaints promptly.
• Oversee hourly cleaners, including scheduling, hiring, training, and performance management.
• Plan and control operational activities, monitor KPIs, and ensure contract scope is fulfilled.
• Handle owner‑operator coordination, coaching, and performance actions.
• Administer invoices, budgets, and profit reconciliation on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s licence with a clean record and ability to travel extensively across the region.
• 3–5 years of management or leadership experience, preferably overseeing multiple locations.
• Strong problem‑solving, critical‑thinking, and delegation abilities.
• Availability to respond to emergencies 24/7 and work flexible hours.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Lighthouse, BIStrainer, and WhatsApp platforms.
• Intermediate computer skills: Outlook, Word, Excel (report creation and editing).
