Technical Inside Sales Member

About the role

Join Sterling Fleet Outfitters as a Technical Inside Sales Member, helping customers design and equip work vehicles that boost productivity. You will interact directly with clients, translate their needs into technical solutions, and guide projects from quotation through installation.

Key responsibilities

• Meet customers in person, by phone, and email to gather vehicle and equipment requirements.
• Conduct discovery conversations, design vehicle layouts, and recommend practical upfit solutions.
• Create estimates, quotations, proposals and detailed project costings.
• Identify mechanical, electrical and installation requirements and coordinate with sales, purchasing, production and installation teams.
• Maintain accurate project information in company systems and deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.

Required profile

• Strong face‑to‑face sales and relationship‑building abilities.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and organizational skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and post‑secondary education in Business, Automotive Technology, Engineering Technology or related field (considered an asset).
