Account Manager

About the role

Transoft Solutions is seeking an Account Manager for its Aviation unit in Vancouver. You will own client relationships across public and private sectors, driving sales, expanding accounts and delivering product demonstrations. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will work in a hybrid model, spending at least two days per week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales and performance targets for the assigned territory and provide accurate forecasts.
• Conduct daily prospecting, appointment setting and proactive outreach activities.
• Generate new leads through after‑sales follow‑ups, cold calling, research, networking and email outreach.
• Manage the full sales cycle: needs analysis, product demos, negotiation and closing.
• Maintain accurate prospect and customer records in the CRM and ensure timely renewals for maintenance and subscription contracts.
• Build long‑term relationships with existing clients through regular communication and account development.
• Represent Transoft at trade shows, partner events, conferences and regional meetings.
• Identify and drive upsell and cross‑sell opportunities within the territory.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Operations, Marketing and other internal teams to support client needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of sales or sales‑support experience in the engineering software sector.
• Strong relationship‑building, prospecting, negotiation and closing abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
